Finally on the road again for something besides college baseball. Although we did catch four games during the trip. My old favorite sight finder has gone to a pay model so I turned to Claude for help finding roadside attractions. I specifically asked that offbeat attractions be included so it it gave me the world’s largest rocking chair in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Faithful readers may remember that I already posted about the world’s largest rocking chair and this isn’t it. The actual Guinness record holder is in Casey, Illinois ( Big Things Small Town). Out of the 15 world’s largest rocking chairs in the USA, Casey’s dwarfs them at 56 ft 1 in tall. Guinness actually made them rock their rocking chair to get the record. It took 10 men to do it.
