Google maps recommended the lighthouse in Biloxi. Discovered on the waterfront a statue; didn’t know who it was until I read the plaque.

The Biloxi Lighthouse survived the hurricanes of 1906, 1947, 1969, and 2005.

Biloxi native, Astronaut Fred Haise of Apollo 13 fame. I hope Artemis II fares better.

I had to wait out the bird who refused to shoo.

Further down the road at an Alabama rest stop was this sign. At first glance I thought I would have to steer with my knees.
