The kids headed home after the morning visit to Mount Rushmore, leaving Kay and I to continue our epic journey with Wall Drugs, Badlands, and Missiles.

Minuteman Missile National Historic Site:

- As we traveled, we saw fenced off areas that once hosted missile silos. Many were destroyed as part of a denulearization treaty. Here was that story.
