Tucumcari Railroad Museum

There’s no rolling stock at the Tucumcari Railroad Museum, but a few artifacts and a lot of history.

Not a planned stop, but discovered that the depot had been recently renovated.

The depot during the heyday of railroading in Tucumcari.

Across the street from the depot, a reminder that much of town did not survive having the interstate pass them by.

Carl, the engineer, found a schematic of the telegraph system.
