Less well-know and less-visited than the famous Cadillac Ranch, Slug Bug Ranch takes the same approach. That is, cars buried nose first in the ground with visitor-applied spray paint. But they’re Beetles.
Of course, it’s not just the art itself, it’s the surrounding ambiance:
There were two other cars here, but when we drove by Cadillac Ranch there were more that a dozen cars. Yep, bugs were less-visited.
