No trip on I10 east of Tuscon is complete without a stop to see The Thing (and get a Dairy Queen), On an earlier trip there was No Thing. This trip there was The Thing. But not is his usual location at the end of a long trek through the museum. The museum is closed during remodeling, so you can see The Thing for free!

The trip this morning started in Van Horn, Texas. The only attraction for us of Van Horn is that it’s halfway between Houston and Phoenix. And the Van Horn Cattle Company. Great food. The Hampton Inn is ready for the electric car revolution:
