Bible Museum

We went to Phoenix to watch a grandson’s baseball tournament. On our way from the lobby to the elevator at the Hampton Inn Goodyear we encountered the Bible Museum. Right in the hotel, open 24 hours. I can’t pass up a museum.

They also had a first printing of the KJV from 1611. It was hard to read. The language has evolved. Today’s KJV is not the 1611 version. It was heavily edited in 1794 and edited again circa 1900.

It was the 1950s version of the Encyclopedia that provided me the formula for gunpowder. Used it to make our own Fourth of July displays. And, if it had been me instead of Captain Kirk, I could have used it to defeat the Gorn.
