Where There’s a Way…

Where there’s a way, there’s a Will… Rogers, that is. Turns out our unsuccessful visit attempt to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum last week (Tuesday with No Will) was the first time they’ve been closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Today being Sunday, we decided to skip the world’s largest totem pole and visit the museum. I called first, this time.

At the payment desk, they were giving away book marks, so I bought a book – even though I have 5.5 unread books from our last trip.

We learned some surprising things about him. He was in 50 silent movies and 25 talkies. Vaguely remembered something about his pilot friend Wily Post. Oh yeah, they died together in a plane crash near Point Barrow, Alaska.
